Thae is about carnies who blow into town seemingly to run a circus, but are actually fae tricksters who steal the names of the townspeople. The song is by myself and another nonbinary (they/them) artist but about "fae," hence: Thae. Basically, I got obsessed with the folklore concept of fae tricking people, especially out of their names, because it reminds me of the way nonbinary people choose our names based on people/things we love.
lyrics
Come to the back, pound cardiac
Can I have your name?
It looks so good with my face
Come to the back, amnesiac
Can I have your name?
Okay, vanish, leave no trace
Come to the back, pound cardiac
Can I have your name
It looks so good with my face
Come to the back, amnesiac
Can I have your name
Okay, vanish, leave no trace
The lights are on, but no one’s home
Na, na-na, na na
The lights are on, but no one’s home
Na, na, na
The lights are on, but no one’s home
Throw the bones and roll the stone
Apocalypse is drawing near
And we’re all gonna die

Eyes so heavy
And the room so smoky
Tell me, my pretty
Could you do something for me?
Your lips keep moving
But you’re playing karaoke
Try me, little human
But you can’t trick Loki
I’m a trickster
Keep your honorifics, I’m no mister
Everything I do is off kilter
Can’t stand out when being a kisser
Kiss ass? Nah, bitch, I kick ass
Polyglot, speaking in the tongue of mass creation
When I step to the plate
Better come correct cause I know how to decimate
The Fae smile when I do my thing
Bigge brain, stealing all the damn names
Ain’t shit change
Still a beast
Flow got range, right
You better hang tight
My toxic blade got a nasty bite
Take you to the back room
Dusa with the scary view
Say night-night bitch
We got a plan for you
Come to the back, pound cardiac
Can I have your name?
It looks so good with my face
Come to the back, amnesiac
Can I have your name?
Okay, vanish, leave no trace
Come to the back, pound cardiac
Can I have your name?
It looks so good with my face
Come to the back, amnesiac
Can I have your name?
Okay, vanish, leave no trace

Medusa is a "revenge pop" musician based in New York. They're pretty sure they subconsciously stole calling their music "___-pop" from their friend Zand, who coined "ugly-pop," but it's way too late in the game to undo it now.
The London-based, Argentinian-born artist's sophomore release signals a future of pop that’s thrilling, colorful, and multicultural. Bandcamp Album of the Day Apr 17, 2020
