Oymyakon is a rural locality in Oymyakonsky District of the Sakha Republic, Russia, located along the Indigirka River, 30 kilometers northwest of Tomtor on the Kolyma Highway. It is the coldest permanently inhabited settlement on Earth.

It’s worth noting that this song began as a prayer to Santa Muerte, in honor of my partner’s late mother, Merry. She was devoted to Santa Muerte and died as a result of complications with cancer this year.

Obviously, the song (d)evolved from there. But I think she would like it.
